  What an amazing place! The staff were welcoming and the fish n chips special with salad was delicious. Great place to sit and have some fresh local seafood

  The serving of chips were adequate as were the fish pieces. The oysters were reasonably priced. The prawns were way too small and to be avoided. The staff were either stupid or knowingly rude. My dark skinned wife asked staff whether the fish they served had fins and scales. She was trying to enquire whether their fish were kosher and fit for Jewish consumtion. They just rudely brushed her off and said, yeah, yeah, they've been cleaned. Instead of trying to understand what she was saying they treated her as if she was stupid. She knew they'd been filleted and deboned but she was trying to ascertain the nature of the fish prior to filleting and whether the fish originally had both fins and scales, as kosher fish must have both to be eaten by Jews. It doesn't cost much to be kind and listen to customers rather than brushing them off and treating them like an idiot!
